Objective of the analysis

Flow curve analysis is used to assess the rheological behavior of a product under different shear stresses. It provides information on the dynamic viscosity, fluidity, thixotropy, or plasticity of a fluid, suspension, or semi-solid product. It is an essential tool in formulation, quality control, and industrial process optimization.

In particular, it allows:

  • Characterize the complete rheological profile of a fluid (viscosity vs. shear curve)

Methodology
