Turbidimetry assay

Turbidimetry assay measures the concentration of a substance in a liquid by assessing the reduction in light transmission due to the presence of suspended particles. This method is used to quantify proteins, salts, or to monitor immunoprecipitation reactions. It is suitable for many matrices: water, agri-food products, plant extracts or nutraceuticals. Turbidimetry offers a rapid, sensitive and relatively simple analysis, and can be coupled with specific calibration methods depending on the parameter sought.
