Strychnine assay

Strychnine is a toxic alkaloid extracted from Strychnos nux-vomica. Its concentration must be measured in any plant extract that may contain it to ensure safety. Analysis is performed by LC-MS/MS with a very low detection limit. Sample matrices include plant extracts, supplements, and plant powders.
