Description
Phenoxyethanol dosage allows preservative commonly used in cosmetic and hygiene products to be checked .
Present in many formulations (creams, lotions, wipes, shampoos, makeup removers), phenoxyethanol acts as an antimicrobial agent to preserve the stability and microbiological safety of the finished product.
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 , its concentration is limited to 1% in cosmetic products, hence the need for precise and regulatory analytical control .
