This analysis allows the simultaneous measurement of free luteolin and its glycosylated form (luteolin-7-O-glucoside) , often found in plant extracts. These compounds are used for their antioxidant and soothing effects. The analysis is carried out by liquid chromatography (HPLC-DAD or LC-MS). It is useful for medicinal or cosmetic plant extracts, infusions, powders or finished products based on flavonoids.
