Flow analysis and measurement
Description
Flow analysis characterizes the behavior of a product as it moves under the influence of gravity or mechanical stress. This measurement is essential for optimizing manufacturing, packaging, or application processes, particularly in the cosmetics, food, animal nutrition, technical powders, or pasty materials sectors.
Depending on the nature of the product (liquid, pasty or powder), several methods can be used: flow time test through an orifice (Hall or Marsh funnel type), measurement with a Powder Flow Tester, analysis of the angle of repose, or study of fluidity by rheometry. These analyses make it possible to detect problems of clogging, agglomeration or poor shaping, and to select the most suitable additives or equipment.
Typical matrices analyzed include: food powders, bulk cosmetics, extruded products, dry mixes, pastes, creams, slurries, etc.
At YesWeLab , we collaborate with a rigorously selected network of laboratories, most of which are certified and/or accredited (ISO 17025, COFRAC, etc.). These laboratories are chosen based on your specific needs, the matrices to be analyzed, and the analytical techniques or methods required.
If you have any specific requirements, please do not hesitate to specify them when submitting your request: our scientific team makes every effort to respond accurately and responsively.
Since 2020, many manufacturers, distributors, and design offices have trusted us to manage their analyses, entrusting us with their samples via our digital platform.
