Boldine is an alkaloid extracted from boldo, used for its antioxidant and hepatoprotective effects. Its concentration allows for the standardization of plant extracts used in nutraceutical or phytotherapeutic applications. Analysis is performed by HPLC-DAD or LC-MS.
