Description

The accelerated stability test subjects the product to extreme conditions (40°C, 75% RH) to simulate accelerated aging. It allows for shelf life prediction, instability detection, and faster formulation of stable products. It is used for cosmetic, nutraceutical, and chemical products.

Accelerated stability testing is based on the principle that degradation reactions are faster at elevated temperature and humidity. By exposing samples to these intensified conditions for a defined period, it becomes possible to identify early signs of physical, chemical, or microbiological instability. This approach makes it possible to secure product development, optimize formulation, or even validate an indicative shelf life before carrying out long-term stability studies according to regulatory standards.
